MEET ALEXANDER
MASTER STYLIST
Salon 6 is thrilled to announce that Alexander Baron has joined Salon 6 as our Artistic Director!
Alexander Baron started his career right here in Tacoma! At 17, Alexander attended the Gene Juarez Cosmetology Academy of Hair, trained by Louis Atkins. After training for one year Alexander was a licensed Cosmetologist out of Seattle. Always moving forward, he was asked by Louis to join the Gene Juarez Advanced Training Center (A.T.C) in downtown Seattle to personally train under him and worked at the downtown Salon and helped Louis as a co-instructor at the academy for 3 years before accepting a job at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, England.
Working under Vidal Sassoon's artistic director Trevor Sorbie he then moved with Trevor Sorbie Salon in London. Alexander was the first American to work at the Salon. Later, Alexander felt the need to break away from the grunge Avant-Garde to learn the form of classic vogue styles. Alexander followed his calling and went to work for John Frieda's Salon on Mayfair, London where he became Nicky Clark's assistant. Alexander worked with Paul Mitchell as an ambassador where he did educational product knowledge all over Asia for 8 years.
Throughout his ever-changing, always growing career, Alexander has been recognized by the beauty industry with distinguished honors. You will find his work published in Vogue, Ocean Drive, Men's Fitness, Muscle and Fitness, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Modern Salon, Salon News, Studio Magazine, GQ, Rolling Stones and Allure.
Alexander has also worked runway shows in Los Angeles and New York for Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Christian Dior, Chanel and Valentino.
Alexander is now booking for appointments as early as January 28th!

MASTER BARBER
If you are looking for a rockin' barber who can execute any style cut...You have just found her. Mare'e has over 15 years as Master Barber. Her specialties include razor fades, razor shaves, men's cuts, eyebrows and beard trims. Men's cut include hot towel treatment, razor line up and signature neck and scalp massage. She also does women's cuts!
